I am a New England girl. I’ve always dreamed of a life in a small country cottage with plenty of space away from the busy world. That dream is coming true! I bought a 520 square foot ranch style cottage in Vermont near a lake! I have 11.4 acres and although mostly hilly there is tons of room for gardens, animals, and more.

I grew up in a small Massachusetts town. I raised my daughter there until her sophomore year of high school. We set off on a new adventure and moved to a fun seacoast city in New Hampshire. After she graduated from college she hit the road as a travel nurse. I began searching for my next best life. All of that leads me to a little dirt road in a quaint Vermont ski town. Now I don’t ski but every other part of Vermont-life is exciting to me. Let the adventure begin!
I am a nester by nature. Some of my friends pick on me for this but also love being invited to a good home-cooked Sunday dinner. My daughter – who is a travel nurse – loves the feeling of home I can create no matter where we are.
I love simple, curated decor, and have a fresh start planned for this little cottage. I have left most of my former possessions behind so I’ll have a clean slate to work with. I can’t wait to share all of this journey with you. My hope is you will share with friends and family who might like this kind of life.
A FEW FUN FACTS ABOUT ME:
I stopped dying my hair a couple of years ago and love the freedom of it.
I learned to surf when I was 36. I still own a 9’6″ surfboard I hope to use more often over the coming years.
I was the backup singer and percussionist in a roots-reggae band for 5 years.
I have traveled out of the country more than in but I hate traveling away from home. I have been to Aruba, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, England, Scotland, France, and Nicaragua.
